The Sunday Miscellanea - RPG Auctions Pro Tips

Chris Hinson's RPG Auctions group on Facebook has been chugging along and successfully helping gamers exchange RPG stuff for quite a while.  It is one of a number of Facebook auction groups under a single banner but it is the first and one must be vetted to gain access by starting off in the RPG Auctions - Lobby here.  Join there, read the rules, follow the protocols, and clear out your closet, or fill up your shelves, as the case may be.  One of the additional efforts Chris has made to make the group function better is to set up a YouTube channel where he gives tips on being part of the auction process here.  What follows are three videos that stand out as well worth watching starting with Tip #1 before diving in . . .

The Sunday Miscellanea - The Collector's Trove Auctions from the Roslofs, Sutherland, Arneson, and Ernie Gygax

There's a big auction currently in progress at The Collector's Trove with items finishing up today through Tuesday.  I see lots of art by Darlene and many curiosities dating back to the early 80s.  A few of those items featured include miniatures, TSR stationary and business cards, author's copies of many works, a third printing of (O)D&D,  a 1981 Larry Elmore Christmas card, a poster-sized piece of Erol Otus Art with 20 TSR Staff Autographs from 1981, and even a monogrammed d6 with Dave Arneson's initials.  See more here.

Games Plus Miniatures Auction Finds (Part 2)

I picked up some minis at the Games Plus 2011 Fall Auction (their 55th auction!) on Sunday and posted some the other day that I could not identify.  Here are some more that have me vexed, also, including a giant and five "demonic" figures.  Photos show front and back of the lot.

Games Plus Miniatures Auction Finds

I spent a little time yesterday at the Games Plus Fall 2011 Auction and picked up some minis on a good deal including some I cannot identify.  If you recognize these and can let me know who made them and their names, I'd appreciate it.  In one lot there were nine figures, 25/28 mm, all metal, six that require slotted bases.  One is a big fellow who looks kinda ogre-ish and is hanging onto a victim, two others appear to be a type of lizardman or maybe gnolls, and the other six are either demons or satyrs with the mark of GW (Games Workshop) from 1997.
