YouTube's bluetablepainting uploaded a video to recap their in-house Orboros vs Trollbloods tourney game but while watching it I was intrigued by the simple and effective terrain pieces they had on the table. It's basicaly chucks of styrofoam with some runes carved in, and cut corners, painted as rocks and piled high on top of irregularly shaped foamcore board bases then sprinkled liberally with flocking (add some lichen to taste). A few have some gnarled tree trunks. Pause the video from time to time and check out how easy it would be to make some of the set pieces they have in use. Enjoy!
