Citidel Miniatures Finecast Line

Since the release of Games Workshop's Citadel Finecast line of products early last year, I have heard conjecture on the various reasons why, some claiming it is a money grab with less expensive materials but most recognizing the excellent detail that can be had using this process.  I also stumbled across a YouTube video on MiniwargamerJ's channel about his experience last August when finding that one of his orders included a miscast figure.  Check it out!

RayFrakked

The developer of a new video game called RayFrakked is trying to gather some playtesters.  In his own words, as posted on EN World.org -

I've been looking for betatesters for a computer game I'm developing, RayFrakked. While doing so, it occurred to me where I could find one of the largest bunch of gamers on the net. Gamers that know how to pick apart a game to it's basic rules and make a game designer sob in the corner while rocking gently back an forth. Rayfrakked is a massively single player puzzle game, allowing players to not only play to solve puzzles, but to also make your own puzzles and inflict them on people who might have otherwise been your friends. We're a small publishing house, consisting of... me. One of the things I could really use are people to look over the game, test and comment. If you're interested in helping out, you can email me at rayfrakked@gmail.com

ReaperMinisTV Big News

There's big news coming from YouTube's ReaperMinisTV channel, as after two years the current host, Mark Theurer, is stepping down.  It's been a good run and his reviews have been awesome and informative.  Apparently Gus from Reaper will handle things for a bit as they look for a new outside person to take over.  If you are capable of making videos and have a penchant for pewter, contact Gus at Reaper ( gus@reapermini.com ) to let them know you're interested in trying to jump in.  Anyway, here's the most recent video with that information.

Taking a walk down memory lane, here's the first video from December 2009 . . .
